The Cervelo Soloist site has been set up by enthusiasts of Cervelo’s excellent Soloist Road Bike to provide information to enthusiasts. Cervelo have designed and developed the Cervelo Soloist as a high end road bike. Designed using the latest technology and materials, one of Cervelo's remits for the Soloist was to create a top road bike that was as versatile as possible. which has helped to make The Cervelo Soloist a near perfect Road Racing Bike. The Soloist has been the bike of choice for the Pro CSC Cycle Team for stage races and classics, including wins in the Paris-Nice and Criterion International and Liège-Bastogne-Liège cycle races. In addition to this the winner of Iron man USA, Simon Lessing won on a Cervelo Soloist at his first ever attempt at that distance. The Cervelo Soloist has been cleverly designed to be a full aero road bike through extensive design and testing it is also ideally suited to Road Riding and has been used with great success as a Time Trial bike and Triathlon Bike. Fully fulfilling Cervelo’s remit as a top end road bike and almost complete all rounder. Couple this with the Cervelo Soloist’s drop dead looks and it is no surprise that the soloist is the most sort after Road Bike of the last two years.

Cervelo currently produce three bikes in Cervelo Soloist Road Bike range. The Cervelo 1 entry level, Cervelo S2.

Cervelo Soloist S1

 

The Cervelo Soloist S1 represents Cervelo's entry level Soloist model. although entry level does the Cervelo S1 an injustice as this is still a high end top quality road bike.The Cervelo S1 has an innovative and aerodynamic design constructed  from high quality ultra light weight and strong aluminum. The S1 is both lighter stiffer and more comfortable than many carbon frameset's. Cervelo incorporated their patented TrueAero®  tube set into the construction of the S1. Giving the Bike lower drag at high speeds. Making the Cervelo S1 easier to ride. Also incorporated into the frame production is Cervelo's Smartwall® cross section to increase stiffness without any substantial gain in overall Cervelo S1 frame weight. Finished with a double-pass smooth welding. For an ultra strong join. The Cervelo S1 Frame Geometry as with the S2 and S3 has a 2 position TT and Triathlon geometry allowing a rider to use the Soloist for road positions and Time Trial and Triathlon positions where a more aerodynamic body shape is required. The Cervelo Soloist S1 is a truly versatile high end road bike and as with the entire Soloist range offers exceptional comfort at high performance for the serious cycle rider at a very affordble price. The Cervelo S1 frame is fiited with a 3T Funda Pro Fork.

Cervelo Soloist S2 CARBON

 

The Cervelo S2 is considered by many to be the ultimate professional road bike. The Soloist S2 has already amassed a great number of victories in its short time on the pro cycle circuit and goes from strength to strength in sales of high-end road bicycles. The Cervelo S2 has been extensively used by the Pro Cervelo Test Team and is so versatile with its 2-position TT/Tri geometry that it has been ridden in the hardest one-day classics like the largely cobbled Paris-Roubaix and long stage races such as the Giro and Tour de France. The Cervelo S2 has a very low frame weight and has been designed for true aero advantage. The S2 is constructed 300 pieces of carbon using Cervelo’s unique Smartwall® for Carbon™ (unidirectional high modulus carbon) construct. To deliver maximum stiffness without compromising comfort. Cervelo also incorporated full aerodynamics in the design and manufacture of the S2 Soloist, incorporating Stealth aero tubing and Cervelo’s TrueAero® tube shapes to minimize drag. The Cervelo Soloist unique frame geometry ensures that there is no need for custom frame builds for those of an in between size. Cervelo claim that the Soloist's clever frame design enables 6 frame sizes to cover 12 frame sizes from contemporary road bike maker’s frames.

Cervelo S2 has built a solid reputation amongst the Pro cycling fraternity. Made from High Modulus Carbon Fibre with aero tubing designed for power transfer and comfort it is the choice of a number of Pro riders. Lower aerodynamic resistance: TrueAero® tube shapes are designed for the lowest drag at bicycle speeds. 300 pieces of carbon positioned and spec’d to deliver stiffness, strength, light-weight and comfort resulting in a 25% lighter frame than the S1. By using unidirectional high-modulus carbon on the sides of the aero tubes, lateral stiffness is further optimized.

Cervelo Soloist S3 CARBON

The S3 Road Bike represents the top of the Cervelo Soloist range. As with all the Cervelo Soloists it has an Aero Road Frame that is Stiff, Comfortable and ultra light With full aero sculpting. The Cervelo S3 as with the S2 incorporates Cervelo’s razor thin Aero Seat Stays with redesigned chain stays to further improve aerodynamics .Cervelo underwent rigorous testing with many hours of wind tunnel analysis to come up with the S2 and S3.  The S3 frame is fully aero and constructed from unidirectional high modulus carbon fibre, utilizing Cervelo’s patented Smartwall® technology for great lateral stiffness with no penalty on frame weight. with Razor Thin Aero Seat Stays to further decrease weight .The Cervelo S3 Frame Set includes a 3T Funda TEAM Fork and Cervelo Aero SL Seat Post. As with The Cervelo S2 There are 6 Frame sizes available.

The Cervelo S3 Road Bike represents the top of the Cervelo Road Cycle range with Cervelo’s Aero road frame design and testing. Using Cervelo seat with full aero shaping and allowing reduced weight. The S3 offers exceptional stiffness and ultra lightweight with built in comfort. With redesigned chain stays to further increase aero dynamics. All cables are internal with oversized Bottom bracket the whole frame is made from High Modulus Carbon Fibre.
